oh my oysters

We are headed to the mountains for a few days. The weekend after New Year's is one of my most favorite events of the year - my family's annual oyster roast.

I'm looking forward to introducing the twins to some relatives they haven't met yet, and the boys always benefit from running wild & free on my grandparents' mountain.

There will be shooting of shotguns, opening of Christmas gifts, and shucking of oysters.
The memories of oyster roasts past...
